The product depicted was one of the first major products from the company 'X' which then (in 1946) specialized in fabrication technology. Named after the Japanese word for the 'finger ring' it allowed it's wearer to smoke a cigarette down to it's very nub which had become a habit in Japan owing to post war economic slump. The product was completely manufactured on a simple lathe and soon became a hit. The profits from this invention provided the capital to make the company what it is today.
