A first-class Canadian passenger, Mrs. Vera Dick, alleged that the final song played by the band was the hymn "Nearer, My God, to Thee." The leader of the 8-member band reportedly said to a friend if he was on a _______ ____ ,"Nearer, My God, to Thee" would be one of the songs he would play. But the wireless operator’s account that he heard the song "Autumn" was more popularized. It is considered he either meant the hymn called "Autumn" or "Songe d'Automne," a popular song at the time. Bride is the only witness who was close enough to the band to be considered reliable—Mrs. Dick had left an hour and 20 minutes earlier and could not possibly have heard the band's final moments.

Answer: The music band of Titanic led by William Hartley which kept on playing even when the ship started sinking to keep the passengers calm and upbeat.

well...
its a band that played before some famous disaster.
I thought perhaps an air crash
I dont know if bands play on a plane.
Or a ship disaster,obviously titanic
or a train disaster
but this mrs.vera dick left such a long time ago.i think it only could've been on a ship,like with a lifeboat.it must be titanic.
thats just a guess.r u bored with this answer?I am.
