Most prisoners die though five surviving ones manage to escape. As they are planning their escape they end up in a mission to steal equipment of the Nazi V2 rocket. They are to sneak into a 'damned armored train' in German territory, make the hardware steal and bring it back to their French allies.
The movie was also alternatively issued as Hell's Heroes and Deadly Mission on Television.
