Let's get creative now:
Chris Squire(bassist) and Alan White(drums) of the band "Yes" contacted Jimmy Page(guitarist) of "Led Zeppelin" to form a rock supergroup. Page believe the band needed a strong vocalist and sought out former "Led Zeppelin" exfrontman Robert Plant. Plant did attend one of their rehearsal on 28 February 1981, but decided not to join the group citing his dislike for the complexity of the music. Without a firm commitment from Plant, and contractual issues on who should manage the group, the project was shelved shortly thereafter.
What was this supergroup called and WHY?
Answer: The supergroup was called XYZ, short for eX-Yes-and-led Zeppelin
