Thank you! BQC's Back!

 Hey guys,

You remember the time we urged you to Bring BQC Back. Bournvita Quiz Contest, India's most popular television quiz show hosted by Derek O'Brein had gone defunct and India's quiz enthusiasts had started the Bring BQC Back campaign on Facebook.

I’m sure that you would be overjoyed to know that the efforts to Bring BQC Back have finally borne its fruit. Derek O'Brien has successfully managed to convince Cadbury to join in the movement to Bring BQC Back. The movement has even managed to rope in Colors TV as the broadcast partner. If all goes well, the Bournvita Quiz Contest should once again be India's favorite Sunday morning pastime.

In fact Derek has even agreed to feature questions from the Bring BQC Back community on facebook. All one has to do is post a video of them asking a question and share it with us at MAIN BHI QUIZMASTER (http://www.on.fb.me/quizmaster). The one with the whackiest question will be hand-picked by Derek to ask a question on the show. So rush on to the website, and get your chance to be featured on Bournvita Quiz Contest.

We are extremely grateful to you for supporting our cause. Thanks to the awesome efforts of almost 166,000 quizzing enthusiasts on facebook, the Bournvita Quiz Contest will be finally making its return to Indian television.

Cheers!
Rohan

Question 1185: Oye tere Maa(N) Ki!!

Sorry if this question seems to be too cryptic! Please bare!!

Well everyone knows the above 2 brands and the rivalry that they share. Recently their ad campaigns have also been in news. So, the above pics are from the print ads of the said brands. What's been blanked out in both? However small the blanked-out part might seem to be, if you ask me, they are probably the most important part of the whole pic! In other words the ad can't stand without them! Why so? Put complete funda!!

Answer: The blanked out part is soda, or CDs. It's basically because, it is illegal to advertise the brand for alcoholic drinks, so the companies have to set up a parallel product with the same brand name. The rivalry was recently back in the news because of the whole Mahendra Singh Dhoni - Harbhajan Singh spoof ads aired on Indian television recently.
