"A" is a parody/tribute/combination band which plays music mixed from songs of "B" and "C". To avoid lawsuits, the band provides all its recorded songs available for free download and till recently had kept their real names a mystery from the public. They resorted to made up names combining the names of the band members of "B" and "C". The members of "C" have even declared publicly that they enjoy A's music.
The "D" Album is the 5th studio album by "C". This album is also known eponymously as "C" itself. (The name of the band and the name of this album is the same) The album is a part of the Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album cover for this album is inspired by a flag shown in pic 1.
The "E" Album is the 9th studio album by "B". This album is also known eponymously as "B" itself. (The name of the band and this album is the same) The album is a part of the Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Though he is uncredited, Eric Clapton played lead guitar on one of the songs in the album. "B"'s original guitarist who invited Clapton to record with "B" returned the favour by teaming up with Clapton on a song for one album by Cream(Clapton's band).
"D or E" is a song by pop musician "F". The music video for this song features Macaulay Culkin alongside "F". The song's guitar riff is wrongly credited to former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash. His work is only played in the intro for the song.

So, identify A,B,C,D,E and F.
Since we have 6 elements, we will give multiple points for this one.
Identify all 6: 3 points (let's say a +0.5 bonus if you are the only person to get all 6 correct)
Identify 5: 2.5 points
Identify 4: 2 points
Identify 3: 1.5 points
Identify 2: 1 point
Identify 1: 0.5 point.
Also, Satya's Question 1220 is still not cracked by any of you. Although we have had 2 fairly good guesses, but nowhere closer to the right answer. Do try it, it's pretty vague though(I should warn you).
And another thing, also check out Aditya Karve's quiz blog which is on the roll once again.
