Quizlexic completes 1000 days, and 1000 questions too!

When I started the blog on 6th May(yes, I remember the day) 2008, and posted my first set of questions on 20th May, I didnt have any idea I would go on to post a 1000 questions along with my friends Sanket, Rohit, Mihir, Alok, Siddharth, Aditya and Satyawrat. Nonetheless, it has happened.

Today i.e. 31st Jan '11 is the 1000 day of Quizlexic(get a calculator if you don't believe me). The final result is that we have posted, on an average, a question per day(though we have had some days when we posted as much as 5 questions and some months we have posted the same number of questions, check the blog archive to see our erratic posting periods). I had to reduce the number of posts this month so that we could have 1000 questions till the 1000th day, or else we could have easily surpassed 1000 till now.

We have always received a good response for our questions from you guys, but the questions which were answered the most was Question 954 with 22 comments followed by Question 997 and Question 887 both with 20 comments, the maximum we have ever received. So thanks for that too.

What's different from now on?
The current blog authors are now going on a self-appointed hiatus because of the burden on 12th grade studies(that reminds me, I gotta study!) and will resume duties from May(dunno when).
That does not mean Quizlexic is going on a break because we have found two very capable quizzers in Soumya and Rishi Raj(who are also from Pune) who will be the temporary blog authors during our absence(and if things work out, they will continue). They have contributed guest questions to Quizlexic a number of times and expect the same type of questions to follow from today.
We might butt in every once in a while if circumstances permit...

And guys, give Soumya and Rishi some time to get adapted to the blogging. Although they are hardcore quizzers, they are trying their hand at blogging for the first time. So, don't fuss if the answers are not posted regularly or comments are not moderated. Take it easy on them.

So thank you all.
Over to you, Soumya and Rishi.
Over-and-out.
