Question 474

Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, a Polish national, broke a long-standing legacy of 455 years in 1978by achieving a remarkable feat. He, better known as X, died in 2005, after surviving many dreadful attempts on his life in the previous years. A german, Joseph Ratzinger, better known as Y, got a chance after X's death thus again crushing all hopes that the old broken 455 year old legacy would start again. X? Y? and What I am talking about?
