Answer: Grouping done on the basis of flavour.
SET A: Brands produced by Parle in the past and the present.(many of which were acquired by Coca Cola in 1993: Thumps up, Limca, Mazaa, Gold Spot ....)

SET B: Brands owned by Coca Cola

SET C: Brands of Pepsico in the same domains

    gold spot,thums up,limca,citra maaza all brands belonged to parle they sold them to coca-cola.

    while fanta and sprite are coca-colas
    official product.

    and mirinda ,mtn dew,7up(partially)
    slice belongs to pepsi.

    A= originally Parle brands
    B= coca cola brands
    C= Pepsi brands

    set A-various aerated drinks originally owned by Parle and finally each of them being sold to coca-cola or pepsi.

    set B-aerated drinks owned by coca-cola which replaced some drinks in set A after they were bought over by coke.

    set C-serated drinks owned by pepsi

    each set represents flavor of the drink be it cola, mango, lime or orange.

    set A is indigenous brands
    set B is brands owned by coca cola india
    set C is brands owned by pepsico ltd
