Answer: Call of Duty, building is Pavlov House, after Sergeant Pavlov who defended it in the Battle of Leningrad, the leader in this mission in the game is called Pavlov too.

    The game is Call of Duty.
    The house is Pavlov's house the germans could not capture it even after sustained efforts.

    Pavlov's House named after the Russian Sergeant Yakov Pavlov of the Red Army. During the Battle Of Stalingrad, in SW Russia (Leningrad was a seige in Northern Russia) a platoon held off German attackers for 59 days during the Winter of 1942.
    I remeber playing this in Call Of Duty and found it the most intense and uncomfortable level in any 'game' I've played.
