Question 1214: Nepots

Identify both and what connects them.



Answer: Pliny the Elder and Pliny the Younger, the former being the nephew of the latter. Also, both were witness to the eruption of the volcani Mt. Vesuvius on the island of Pompeii in Italy.

    the first one is Pliny the young but the second one is ?

    he is said to hav witnessed the eruption of Vesuvius

    or the second could be the other person whu saw it .

    Pliny the Younger and his uncle Pliny the Elder. Both witnesses the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79CE and the elder Pliny died during this incident.
