Answer: Quoting Sharon (coz i'm too lazy to frame it myself),"Harald "Bluetooth" Gormsson was a medieval King of Denmark. Since he played a part in uniting various tribes into a single kingdom in his reign, an English version of his name was used to name a technology that did a similar kind of uniting of communication protocols in one standard protocol - Bluetooth Technology. His initials in ancient runes make up the symbol of Bluetooth.

    King Bluetooth had been influential in uniting Scandinavian Europe during an era when the region was torn apart by wars and feuding clans.So the blue tooth technology was named after him (King Harald Blatand)
